Listed are the deals submitted by the nominating bodies for Deals of the Year 2017. The deals have been nominated under 5 broad categories, with most (39) in M&A (with a deal value for the disclosed deals of over €127 billion this year). The values and nominations for the other categories were: Debt Capital Markets (30 deals) €21.3 bn; Equity Capital Markets (20) €22bn; Loans & Financing (47) €18.5 bn; Financial Services (23)€20.5bn.

Note: The Awards are drawn from within the categories, and there are overall awards that can transcend categories. Thus the categories in which the nominations have been listed may not accord exactly with the awards. For instance, a deal that is nominated in the Mergers and Acquisitions category could win an award in the Financial Services category. The winners will be announced in the May issue of Finance Dublin. Prices that are given in brackets are the original prices disclosed in non euro currencies. The euro value in the table is based on the exchange rate applying when the deal was transacted.
