Aidan is a partner in the tax division within the Financial Services Group of Ernst & Young. He has nearly 20 years experience advising banks and international groups on Irish tax issues. Aidan has worked for periods in London and New York and worked in one of Ireland's largest banks. He specialises in assisting global groups use Ireland as a location for international activities.

Publications: |
Aidan has published and spoken widely on the taxation of financial services in Ireland, tax risk management and other matters. He is one of the co-authors of the leading text book in the area: Taxing Financial Transactions in Ireland published by the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
He is also co-author (with PJ Henehan) of Global Tax Risk Management published by Tottel in the UK in 2007 and which has been sold to tax professionals in over 20 countries. The book was reviewed by Taxation Magazine: "This is an excellent book".
