Pat leads the Technology & Security Risk Services function in Ernst & Young for the financial services market. He advises a wide range of clients including leading financial institutions in Ireland, in addition to multinational groups, on all aspects of IT security, IT audit, program management and IT forensic activities. His team has the largest number of resources serving the Financial Services market.
Pat began his career in Irish Life & Permanent, where he worked as part of their IT team, before moving to AIB Group, where he developed and maintained information systems. He joined AIB Internal Audit Group in 1989, where his primary role was to perform technology audits. In 1996, he joined Arthur Andersen, where he established a new function called Computer Risk Management, providing IT risk management services to clients. In 2002, Pat moved to Ernst & Young to perform a similar risk management role for the Financial Services Group.
