Lorcan Tiernan was admitted to legal practice as a solicitor in 1995 and joined Dillon Eustace in that year. He subsequently became a partner of the firm in 2000. His main areas of practice are mutual funds with particular emphasis on alternative investment products, and investment manager/stockbroker regulation. He has written a number of articles in international publications and in legal textbooks and has lectured to the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, the National College of Ireland as well as to the Law Society of Ireland. Lorcan is a graduate of University College Dublin and the University of London. He is a member of the International Bar Association and is immediate past-Chairman of the DFIA's Alternative Investment Committee. He also sits on FEFSI's Working Group on Hedge Funds. |
