The Finance Dublin Yearbook 2012 is launched this week
The Yearbook is launched this week, led by a special articles by the Taoiseach, the Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairi Quinn, and Opposition spokesman on Finance, Michael McGrath. as well as many IFSC figures. At its heart, though, are the 550+ updated profiles of the people and businesses that make up the IFSC for the what it is - the most successful development project in the history of the state. The Yearbook features a special, month by month, history of the IFSC, going back to its antecedents, in the 1970s, with the establishment of GPA in Shannon, the first major international financial services success in Ireland, and the early days of money and banking in Ireland. The book also provides a Special 'IFSC Scorecard' which assessses the standing of the IFSC at various points in its history, including, most importantly, the present.
Major deals in finance and the IFSC, as corporate Ireland emerges with key deals
2011 was a real year of change, with banking and pharmaceutical financing just some of the major highlights.
