Galen Moloney

Director, European Structured Finance
FitchRatings
Galen Moloney is a director in Fitch Ratings collateralised debt obligation (CDO) group. He is a member of the team within the CDO group responsible for rating analysis of balance sheet and cash flow arbitrage collateralised debt obligations transactions including CDOs of ABS, CLOs and Mezzanine Funds. Galen has also been involved in rating structured investment vehicles. In his time at Fitch, Galen has rated a broad spectrum of transactions including the first Portuguese SME transaction, Promise Caravela and Fitchs first public finance initiative CDO, Stichting Profile Securitisation I. Prior to joining Fitch, Galen was a financial controller at JP Morgan Chase focusing on their European and Asia Pacific structured finance business. Galen earned a BComm in accountancy and management from University College Cork. He is also a qualified management accountant.
