The Finance Dublin Seventh Annual Conference 2006

28th - 29th March 2006, Dublin

Conference Overview

The agenda for the conference is that coverage will be focused, but will also be comprehensive, covering the key leading edge investment and issuance topics. Within a 24 hour period the conference will be structured to provide a strategic year end overview, with the top minds in the industry.

The conference will build on successes of the event of earlier years, and will provide a showcase for investment banks and service providers, including in investment analytics and investor and trading services, as well as jurisdictional structuring.

The growth of structured finance continues to exceed the most bullish of expectations, with issuance levels rising, and the pace of innovation deriving from structured finance driving the most rapid growing segments of the capital markets, credit default swaps being an example. However, tightening spreads have increased the challenge to derive value and this is having repercussions in all sectors of the market.

This year's event promises to be the most comprehensive and exciting yet. It will focus on market conditions, as evidenced in the content of several of the keynote addresses at the conference on November 28th and 29th 2006.

These themes will be carried on in ten panel discussions, including a focus on cutting edge developments in the biggest and fastest growing product markets, such as RMBS/CMBS and synthetic CDOs.

Ireland's position as one of Europe's leading structuring and listing centres for innovative vehicles is reflected in several of the panels, which will discuss the relative merits of various jurisdictions for differing objectives. This is reflected in the planned discussions on innovations in structuring, and in the reinsurance panel. Investor topics are also to the fore, seen in the focus of several of the discussions.

The 2006 conference will have the biggest international line up of speakers and delegates yet assembled at the Dublin conference, with the distinguished list of speakers on the accompanying pages that speak for themselves.
